Summer Camps 2024

The Works offers a fun array of day camps for ages 3-12 where you’ll explore, create, and build this summer.

  • Registration Opens to Members on Feb 1
  • Open Registration begins March 1

Camp registration is on a first-come, first-served basis with a limited number of seats available in each camp. Registration fees are typically non-refundable. Scholarships Summer Camp financial assistance is available for those who qualify. To apply, contact Guest Services or fill out this online scholarship form.

Busy Bee (Ages 3 & 4) – $125/$100 Members
Designed specifically for your curious kiddo, Busy Bee Camp and Fireflies at The Works engages young children with fun, hands-on art and science activities while exploring some of our coolest exhibits and artifacts. A great first camp experience!*

Around the World – June 18-21, 9:30-11:30 AM – Register here!
Travel here, there and everywhere! Join us as we explore different spots around the world learning about art, culture and geography!

Once Upon a Camp – July 9-12, 9:30-11:30 AM – Register here!
Story time meets science, art and history! Let’s jump into our favorite books and get hands-on exploring through literature.

Mini Makers – July 23-26, 9:30-11:30 AM – Register here!
Build it! Design it! Draw it! Make it! Take a dive into the world of engineering and art as we make amazing creations.

Location: STEM Clubhouse at The Works

*Campers must be able to use the restroom independently


Fireflies (Ages 5 & 6) – $125/$100 Members

For your future scientist, explorer, artist, or historian! Join us for STEM camps at The Works. Both Pathfinders and STEMvestigators create hands-on exciting opportunities for your adventurous child, with a multitude of themes and projects to inspire and excite your camper.*

Day & Time: (W-F), 9 AM to 2 PM

Geo Lab! – June 26-28, 9 AM to 2 PM – Register here!
Let your budding archaeologist, geologist or paleontologist go wild during Geo Lab! Learn about fossils, rocks and so much more! Camp Rocks!

Art Lab! – July 17-19, 9 AM to 2 PM – Register here!
Whether Abstract, Impressionist, Sculpture or Realism – join us as we dive deep into art using different materials, inspirations and styles!

Eureka Lab! – July 31-Aug 2, 9 AM to 2 PM – Register here!
Get geared up for coding, blueprints and prototypes! Learn more about robotics, computer programming, and technology. Plus, explore how parts of the museum relate to engineering.

STEMvestigators Camp (Ages 10-12) – $175/$150 Members
