STEMfest @ The Works: Be a part of the fun at the 15th annual celebration of STEM.

Free & Open to the Public

Have a blast with us as we explore STEM with hands-on activity stations throughout the museum! This event brings youth and families face-to-face with STEM experts from aeronautics to environmental engineering to robotics—and everything in between. Community partners and industry exhibitors will be showcasing how STEM plays a part in their work everyday.


STUDENT COMPETITION 

All presentations will take place at the museum. Teams will be assigned a judging time during which they will present to a panel of industry & education representatives.

2024 Challenges

Students in 3rd – 12th grade can select one of the 2024 challenge themes and use the scientific method and engineering design process to develop creative solutions to real-world challenges. Engage in problem solving, collaboration, and teamwork to create and present workable solutions. Registration Open 12/01/23 – 02/02/24. Please note that schools may be limited to a maximum of three competing teams per challenge.
