The Works Hours: Tues – Sat, 9 am – 4 pm

SciDome planetarium shows happen daily:

Tuesday: 2:30 PM (No morning shows due to The Ohio State University at Newark class session)
Wednesday-Friday: 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM
Saturday: 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM

Glassblowing Demos happen daily:

Tuesday: 11:30 AM
Wednesday-Friday: 11:30 AM & 2 PM
Saturday: 1 PM

Guidelines for Visiting

Child Safety

All children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult while visiting The Works. Children should be supervised by an adult at all times during their visit.

Food & Drink

Food & drink are not permitted inside the museum, other than water. Guests can use The Works Courtyard or Central Gallery (2nd St building) to eat and drink. Snapshots Social is an on-site café, located in the 2nd St building, across the courtyard, open M-F, 9 am until 2 pm each day.

Weapons Policy

Weapons of any kind are prohibited on The Works’ premises, regardless of a concealed carry permit.

Tobacco Policy

The Works is a tobacco-free campus where smoking & vaping are prohibited.

Pets Policy

Pets are not permitted.

Please note, The Works campus is private property. Thank you for following our guidelines during your visit!



Masks are optional.
Guests may choose to mask at any time. If you are experiencing symptoms, or have possible exposure to someone with COVID-19, you should wear a mask or consider visiting another time. Please stay home if you have tested positive for COVID-19. Special events and rentals at The Works may have other safety requirements.

It is optional to social distance between other households or groups.

VACCINATIONS
The Works no longer requires vaccinations for glassblowing experiences.
As always, there is no vaccination requirement to visit The Works.

Donation Request Policy

Organizations must meet these guidelines to be considered for a limited number of donations each year.
