- Behind the Science – The Newark Earthworks: One of the World’s Ancient Wonders (Dr. Bradley T. Lepper, Ohio History Connection) – 6 PM
The Newark Earthworks are the largest set of geometric enclosures and mounds in the world. The work of the Hopewell people who lived in Ohio circa A.D. 1-400, these geometric earthworks covered nearly five square miles, using more than seven million cubic feet of earth. Why did the Hopewell build such monumental works? Were they prehistoric forts or ancient American cathedrals?

50 Years of Theatre Magic in Licking County. Weathervane Playhouse, currently celebrating 50 years of professional theatre, presents a collection of production photographs honoring the scope of imagination that has transformed five decades of central-Ohio Theatre. The exhibit features materials from Weathervane’s archives that provide historical context for the production photos: programs, advertising materials, production prompt books, costumes, props, set pieces, and more.
