The Works Artist In Residence (AIR) Program welcomes two experienced glass artists each year to our Glass Studio. During his or her 13-week residency, these promising artists showcase their talents in our hands-on teaching environment. Past AIRs have come from diverse backgrounds with varying craft expertise, bringing new techniques and educational opportunities in glass art to The Works and our community.


Apply to be an Artist in Residence
We are seeking applicants for our Artist in Residence program. There are two residencies available; each is 13 weeks (3 months) in duration.

Fall 2021:  September through December.
Spring 2022:  January through April.

The focus of the residency is glass blowing. The resident artist will perform daily glass blowing demonstrations, provide glass instruction, and create items for our gift shop and commissioned work during a 5 day work week, Tuesday through Saturday along with the glass studio manager.
