Donate to The Works Annual Fund Drive 2021

In 2021, The Works proudly celebrated our 25-year anniversary with our community. We continue to be a trusted educational resource for families in central Ohio and beyond. Last year was challenging for all of us. More than ever, it’s time to reimagine new and exciting ways to engage our community.

During our six-month closure in 2020, The Works was able to keep our staff, and continue planning much-needed programs and educational giveaways for families. We quickly shifted our focus to offer virtual learning for the public as well as for local schools. With the help of grants, The Works distributed over 5,000 science kits to families for free throughout Coshocton, Fairfield, Franklin, Knox, Licking, Muskingum and Perry counties. Our kit giveaways continue today in the community with our many local partners.

We accomplished all of this through your generous support, including many of your continued memberships even while we were temporarily closed. Our education team is now growing to keep up with the demand in science-based programming and we have many exciting plans for the museum in the coming year.

We hope that you will consider a gift to our Annual Fund and appreciate your support. Read the full letter here.

Every donation – of every size – ensures our programs inspire the stories of our community and beyond.

Help make The Works MORE than a Museum!

Annual Fund Letter 2021

At The Works, education is our passion. And inspiring today’s children to become tomorrow’s engineers, creators, and innovators is our call to action. We believe it’s your call to action, too. To continue providing a high-quality educational experience, however, requires three main ingredients:

Reinvestment and renewal in quality programming
To keep our programming relevant and successful, we must regularly reinvest in the educational resources we offer. That means building new exhibits, creating new outreach and tour programming, and offering more teacher professional development opportunities.

Volunteers who are the heart and soul of The Works
With the help of our more than 150 volunteers, we are able to provide more than 50 educational programs every year, visit 182 schools across 12 counties, and serve guests from 35 states.

Financial support from donors like you
To accomplish our goal requires not only quality programming and volunteer support. It also requires an investment form those in our community who are able to give back in an impactful way to help those who are not able to financially contribute.

Make an impact by donating today.
