The Works Annual Fund Campaign is in full swing and all donations add-up to success! 

Numerous opportunities are available for individuals and corporations to support The Works through financial generosity.

The 2017 Annual Fund Campaign is in full swing!

As a non-profit organization, The Works has developed many facets of financial giving to accommodate individuals, families, corporations, and organizations who want to demonstrate their support through a monetary gift. Everyone and every contribution is important and helps to ensure the museum's future success.



Ways to Contribute Financial Support:

Annual Fund Campaign: Campaign Period: Year-round. The Annual Fund provides funding to sustain operations of the museum throughout the year. Without generous donations from individuals, families, and businesses, it would be impossible for The Works to share our programs and events with the community. 

 


 

Buy-A-Brick Campaign:  Campaign Period: Year-round. This option offers individuals or groups an exciting opportunity to pave the way for the future by adding a personalized brick or paver to the LeFevre Courtyard. This is a great way to showcase your family, memorialize a loved one, celebrate a birth, graduation, anniversary, or other special occasion.

Bricks & pavers may be purchased in The Works Gear Gift Shop or by submitting your order form via mail to The Works. View/download order form.

BRICK: 4” x 8”, $200/ea.: Accommodates 3 lines of text with up to 13 letters per line, including spaces.

PAVER: 12” x 12”, $1,000/ea.: Accommodates 7 lines of text with up to 19 letters per line, including spaces.

 



Corporate Giving & Sponsorships: Corporate partners can financially support The Works exhibits, programs, and special events. With multiple levels of giving, The Works is able to offer partnership opportunities to businesses of any size. In return for financial support and/or sponsorship, partners enjoy increased exposure to The Works membership, marketing, and public relations benefits.

 


 

Endowment:  Campaign Period: Year-round. The Works permanent endowment fund provides resources for years to come, ensuring a diverse blend of innovative exhibits, activities and programs for the future.

 


 

Giving Societies: Giving Society monteary gifts made by individuals support the museum through an outright pledge or pledge payment over a multiple-year term. Gifts may be designated to support a specific area of the museum upon request. Your pledge can be do twice as much good when matched by an employer who offers a matching gift program benefit.  The Works is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your donation is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

  • LeFevre Legacy Society: Commitment of $25,000
  • Scheidler Society: Commitment of $10,000
  • Jewett Inter-Urban Society: Commitment of $5,000
  • Ohio Erie Canal Lock #9: Commitment of $2,500
  • Futures Society: Commitment of $1,000

 

 


 

Membership Drive: This is an ideal time to join, renew, or extend membership to The Works for yourself or as a gift to someone special. With special discounts and bonus offers during the Membership Drive, the savings are incredible! 

 



Planned Gifts - Living Heritage: Provides opportunities for individuals to make a lasting commitment to the museum by naming The Works as a beneficiary in their estate plans. This means inclusion in a will, trust, retirement plan, or life insurance policy. No minimum amount is required.
