Get creative and join us for this two-day workshop combining wet felting and needle felting techniques to create your own landscape wall hanging.
MATERIALS: Students need to bring a landscape photo or sketch to work from, two old bath towels, hand towel, 2 18” x 18” pieces of bubble wrap (with small bubbles), a 6” to 8” plastic bowl, Ivory dish washing soap and two plastic grocery bags.
Chris creates original felt art by using wool sheared from her own sheep, which brings her an awareness of the relationship between her surroundings and her art. Chris has exhibited her felt art at Bryn Du Art Show, The Dairy Barn, Dawes Arboretum, Franklin Park Conservatory, Licking County Arts, Ohio Craft Museum, Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition, Wayne Center for the Arts, The Works and Zanesville Museum of Art.
