From about 1900 to the 1930s, the electric interurban railway was one of
the best ways to travel from one Ohio town to another. The interurbans
were
essentially electric trolley cars that ran between towns.
Because they
were powered by electricity, they were quiet, clean and
fast.
You can step back in time aboard a restored
interurban
railway car right here at The Works. Car #174 is located in
the long
building at the north edge of the LeFevre Courtyard.
